We originally planned to start from Marrakesh and just go east. Then we found out that Algeria border is closed and read up on the recent political turmoil there from the book "Lonely planet". So the plan changed to ferry across to Spain. That’d be greatly appreciated.

It's a trick I learned from taking photos at figure skating shows in the dark, although I was using fast film then -- it's so much easier being able to play around with digital camera settings rather than having to switch out film!
