I bought the Fractured-Dreams.com domain name in March 2003 from active-domain.com. The site originally just housed my personal blog, but as I added more sites and revamped the blog this summer I decided to bring everything together and use the main page as a collective.

As for the name "fractured dreams", aside from the fact that "fractured" was my word-of-the-moment at the time, it felt (and still does) like an appropriate description for my life. It did actually become a toss-up between "fractured-dreams" and "fractured-angel" after I found the gorgeous Angel Sanctuary brush I used on the first layout. But then I figured it wouldn't have quite as much meaning when I changed the layout. So "dreams" it was, and here I am!

The current layout features my latest obsession, the crytalline-voiced alt-country/rock chanteuse Emmylou Harris and her (former) band, Spyboy -- Buddy Miller, Brady Blade and Darryl Johnson. Photos are from www.emmylou.nl.
